Feathery

I drew this while I was waiting for my flight to Australia on the Mumbai Airport. It's inspired from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport logo, but I made slight modifications to spell someone's name in it ;)



I sketched this with my felt tip pen set that I thought I'd never part with until it got dried, but as I'm leaving the city, I am leaving behind almost all my crafts and arts stuff.. Its all these meters and metres of fabrics that I just from India thinking they were cheap there and the ones I"d saved from a while ago and brocade.. and then all my color pencils, charcoal set, water color pens etc.. I didn't quite intend this to be a post about the supplies I'd bought.. I just wanted to write a couple lines.. But I guess its hard leaving these things behind.. Things I thought I'd put to use and draw magic out of.. (read all the above with crybaby tone :((( )

I"m donating them to a church nearby, I hope the stuff is able to inspire a budding artist within somebody.

I've been so caught up in having to throw or give away almost everything I owned that I've almost forgotten I'm taking a giant step towards the fulfillment of my dreams. This has got to be one of the biggest leap of Faith for me.
