Crocheted Bangle

I'd bought a bunch of these seriously cool wooden bangles of every color possible... I said I'd post a photo of them all but it seem like its eluding me... Beisdes they're being used up for the things I intended to do with them as well.. or even things I sort of stumpledupon a little unintentionally... The first trial thing made with these bangles or wait... I didn't actually use a real bangle in there I made the crocheted cell phone cozy to see how one would look with a real bangle inside... I liked it.. and had mentally made a note to make clones out of it when I got to Australia with the tons of yarn I've got lying with me (I'm not a knitter nor a crocheter.. I"ve just not got the patience.. but I am guilty though of hoarding things 'just-in-case I may need them' and when I know fully well I'm not really going to need them.. like the yarn.. I have to invent projects to put them to use... ok enough rant)...

So I started out with one of the bangles that had broken in transit as a result of my luggage being manhandled.. I'm not sure what my kitty tags must've had to endure but couldn't have been too pretty considering one of the wooden bangles on the inside of the bag broke (or maybe I'm being too paranoid and I just packed badly and th ebangles must've had fissures anyway)...

Notice the cello tape in the first photo holding the bangle together in two places? Even if you don't notice it much, I know its there... :( That's where it was broken.

I love the feel of it now.. the wooden bangles were quite a bit rough on the inside and scraped the hands.. The yarrn's ultrasoft and feels a bit silky to touch so like I said I love the feel of it and the look of it.... uhm.. gotta say I won't making more of these :D
