I'd originally gone shopping at one of Australia's biggest fabric stores, Lincraft because of their coaxing me out of my shell $10 coupon.. On my way I stopped at a thrift store and you always find fun stuff at their craft section.. I bought a $5 stencil which come with 14 Fantasy characters and it was a total have to have thingie...
While I was in India at my mum's I found my old blow paint tool which used to work fantastically in my ancient days.. I don't remember when I'd gotten it.. but I lovesd it.. I knew mom had no use for it so I brought it along. Now I said it 'used to' work great.. becaues it really did.. But in the photos below you can see that all it did was get big bubbles of paint.. It used to give this airbrush look that I Loved so much.. Maybe its the new paint pens that are giving out too much ink.. or maybe its me.. I've forgotten how to use it and doing something wrong.. but either way.. if it was working right I wouldn't have had to draw the outlines so you can tell what character that is.. *rolls eyes*
Here're the first few ones I tried: The Rearing Pegasus, the Mermaid and the Rearing Unicorn.. Aren't they the cutest.. now you see what I mean by 'had to have it'!!
Here's what the stencil looks like.. they're 4 strips of hem with those 14 characters.. I'd definitely recommend getting something like these.. If you have children, they'd love it.. and if you don't.. this would be a perfect gift for your inner child ;) (uhm.. that's what a long time of solitude, unemployment and reading cooked-up psychology how-tos on the internet will get you speaking like)

Lovin it.. will try more.. wondering if I can use the blow thingie with fabric ink pens and get these on fabric... I'd love to try.. We'll see if that ever materializes...
